Born in Chicago, IL, and raised in Nebraska, Raven decided to make New Orleans her home in April 2019. Since childhood, Raven always had a knack for numbers and organizing things, so it was a no-brainer for her to choose Accounting as a major in college. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with her B.S. in Accounting, Raven worked in the public accounting industry where she audited the financial statements of various different businesses and governmental entities throughout the country. Raven’s experience in public accounting gave her the opportunity to learn and develop her accounting skills in a wide range of different industries.
