BINGO!!!!

I have always loved BINGO since I was a kid. I rekindled my love of BINGO at a conference a few years back. It was one of the evening activities and we had so much fun even though I didn't win. 

Last year I even had a BINGO meet-up for my birthday with my friends. That experience was interesting, to say the least. It was speed BINGO and we learned quickly that we were not ready for the pros!

Despite that experience, I still love BINGO. So I was intrigued when I saw a content creator on TikTok talking about how she did a BINGO card the previous year instead of a vision board. I had already decided I didn't want to do a vision board this year and this was the perfect replacement. 

Basically, you create a list of items related to your goals and randomly put them on a BINGO card, then game on!

Key points:

• Make sure the items are aligned with achieving your goals
• Balance between personal and professional goals
• Reward yourself when you get a BINGO. 

I decided to do a card per quarter instead of one for the year. I believe short-term goals are more effective (read The 12-Week Year). And I want to black out my card! 

This week I finally sat down and built out my card and I must say I am SO excited! After a cloudy period of grief, I am starting to get back into everything and this has been so helpful in keeping me focused and motivated to cross things off my list. 

Success breeds success. When you accomplish something, it encourages you to keep going. I have been riding the wave of accomplishments and having the best time. I can't wait to see the results and how it furthers my big goals!

My current takeaways are:

• Don't be afraid to try something different. Especially when the old thing is no longer serving you.
• Start will small successes and build a habit of success
• If it matters to you, it should get your time
• Why can't the process be fun? Your life, goals, and accomplishments should all bring you joy and fulfillment. Have fun with it!
